La Costa Brava

A few kilometers from our Castell d'Aro Campsite you will find a wide variety of towns and cities worthy of summer and Mediterranean tourism.

The town of Castell d'Aro is located on the Costa Brava. It limits to the north with Calonge, to the west it limits with Santa Cristina d'Aro, to the south with Sant Feliu de Guíxols and to the east with the coast.

Castell d'Aro extends across the eastern end of Vall d'Aro, a narrow plain drained by the Riudaura River and located between the Serra de Cadiretes and the southern mountains of the Gavarres massif. The Camí de Ronda is the name by which the route that runs along the Costa Brava is known and was formerly used to control the maritime border and prevent smuggling.
